Maine state chair for North American Strongman(NAS) has 2 45's like this. There are deep dish and seem old. Any thoughts?

I dont think I ever saw plates marked BEN... I will ask 2 other collectors who know a lot about plates..

I spoke to a couple of serious barbell collectors, they think the plates are from a Foundry, not a barbell Co..

I have two 45's marked "Ben"...they are pretty decent quality, and the edges are all smooth-they look much better than some other 45 plates I've seen. with rough edges and second rate castings. Attachments:
